car experience days - best ones to go for?

Im looking for a little help,
Its a good friends birthday coming up soon so we are looking to send him on one of these motorsport experience days. Ive had a scout over the internet and see brands hatch and silverstone offer lots of packages but not really what im looking for.
Im looking for a half day or full day experience that drives a number of cars, not to fussed what cars but a varity would be good. Ive noticed that most of the ones listed on the brands/silverstone websites are just 50min sessions or a hour or so. Im looking for something like a 9am arrival and mid day finish. Something worthwhile and hopefully he will feel like hes had a good go at it.

Does anyone have any experience or been on any of the sort that they can recomend?

The best one i ever did was a 4x4 experience, excellent fun and i think you get more for your money.
Do you know what, I agree with you wholeheartedly.I've done a Ferrari and Lotus experience (and trackdays) and whilst both were good fun, my 4x4 Experience at Langdale Quest in Yorkshire was an absolute hoot...so much so I went back twice more!
Definately worth considering.
A proper full trackday is ace though.
