Thought i'd start this one,seeing as it's nearly time,predictions then.I think this could be a chance for lewis and his mclaren,they have upgrades coming for this race,and monaco requires less downforce than say spain,i think the pecking order might be disrupted for this race,well i hope so it's getting a bit boring seeing the same driver winning all the time.

True, there is allot of positive noises coming from Mclaren with regards to the weekend, the track having no high speed bends means that the car should do better as was seen in Bahrain. Hopefully at least a podium. Marcia said:

Surely Monaco is where the teams go for high downforce, at the expense of drag, because speeds aren't that high?Maybe Mclaren can get higher DF than they have been getting, at the expense of drag, but the BGP etc will still get at least the same with less drag, presumably?

The driver counts for more here.
The low speed bends make it a Hamilton track, so expect him to do well.
Also Alonso and the Ferraris.

But then Button is a mighty fine all round driver so should keep the Brawn impetus going.

Webber and Vettel were 4th and 5th last year, in cars hardly worthy of such positions. If RBR keep their heads together, they should do OK.
If Rubens can find the pace, I think his experience will count for a lot. I expect Hamilton and Massa to do well, provided that their cars are reasonable. Kubica is very good on street circuits, so maybe he could play the dark horse.

Whoever gets pole may gamble on starting on the slower tyre to cause a queue, which could be safer than going to the slower tyre later in the race on a circuit where overtaking is almost impossible.
I predict a return to form for Kimi. The Ferrari was quick in Spain, and Kimi has a point to prove. I'd never thought I'd say this, but I'm bored of Button winning and would like to see a closing up of the championship table. A Ferrari, McLaren, Renault return to form would be just fine for Monaco, with a Webber and a Toyota win in the nest couple of races.
