I've just ordered tickets for the above... can't wait! Have fancied seeing this for a while and this is the first time it's been over to the UK

Anybody else planning to go?

Not really motorsport though is it.

I ride myself and would much rather spend my money watching a GP (which I did last weekend and will watch at Leirop) than what is little more than a stunt show.

I'm really not sure who this appeals to.

Well, every definition of motorsport I can find seems to suggest that it is 'the collection of sports which primarily involve the use of motorised vehicles' so I'm not sure you're too correct on that front...

As for who it will appeal to... well me for one. I ride too and would happily watch this as much as MotoGP/BSB/WSBK, which I usually attend every year.

It's definitely more than a stunt show IMHO and I think looks a great spectacle... I'll agree it looks very 'showy' though, which is part of the appeal for me - something slightly different and an entertaining night out

We'll be taking along 6 kids aged 6-15 and I hope it broadens their enthusiasm for all things motorsport related, having recently turned one into a F1 freak...

On the same link you can see proper motocross GP racing from Mallory Park! Actual "racing" - rather than a judge giving points like the eurovision song contest or ice dancing.

And if you watch the video in the link I posted you can see the head-head racing too. But you didn't bother and chose to dismiss it out of hand...

I've tried to watch it before, I find it boring after a few jumps. Although I can see why it looks impressive at first glance. Not sure if you knew but Jeremy Lusk is now dead doing this stuff.

... and Ayrton Senna is dead because of driving in F1, it happens .
FMX and the guys involved are great fun, its not all about four wheels.
Horses for courses, I'll be at Battersea in August and I'll also be at Silverstone for the GP, every man and woman to their own.

I understand It's not about 4 wheels, I only race 2...well I did until I ruptured my ACL in March.
