Spa 25th/26th/27th June

I gather there is some testing on the 25th but you can only book it on track, strange that !!

Otherwise quite looking forward to it, come rain or shine or both

There is new management at Spa, and they are doing things differently.
There are garages 1-22 for Britcar in the old pitlane,
but you must book it by being there early Thursday morning
in the Uniroyal office with 500 euros. You cannot book garages
or testing in advance. Plus you may not transport fuel between 9am and 6pm.
The petrol tanks you transport the fuel in have to be secured properly and the vehicle being used to transport need the correct towing eyes accord to EU rules.etc etc etc please read your finals or look at them on the web www.britcar24hr.co.uk

I understand about having to book the testing on Thursday morning (not happy about that but...)
But are you also saying that we can not book garages until Thursday morning as well...... That’s a bugger if we are turning up Wednesday and "hopefully" testing Thursday at 9:00 AM......

I know you and Clare have tried to sort something regarding the Testing, the garage thing is just inconvenient, but not a major problem.

Hopefully you will have seen the note on the Britcar website - garages can be booked in advance.

under Spa (front page), you need to fax it back to the telephone number supplied,
but this does not guarantee you a garage!!!!
if you are not there first thing Thursday,
in the Uniroyal building at Spa.

Hope you've all got your radio licences from the BIPT. British licences and frequencies must not be used at Spa (or in fact, anywhere outside Britain!).

Having gone through many many hoops obtaining permits for teams competing in other championships in Belgium, it isn't fun, it's slow, painful, and ruddy expensive.

I'm glad we're in the Great Britain, and our licence regulator is almost sensible.

The accident replay was useful as the rumour I heard was that the prosport tagged the mosler and caused the crash. This quite clearly is not the case thankfully. Mike Millard's a good guy that I've known for a very long time. A hard racer but fare. Although our gearbox broke at 1 hour 20 I had a great time, nice to see some old faces and some new.
