How do they rotate cars

Just watching Le Mans, a car stopped outside its pit. The mechanics lifted it up to work on it, decided it need to go into the garage so they just spun it 90degrees and pushed it back into the garage with the wheels still off the ground.

Where does the dolly thing come from

The mechanics slide them under, then push the cars back in

They lift it up on air jacks and lower it onto a trolley.

They all employ a levitation specialist, Peugeot had David Blaine in the pits this year.

There are actually several different systems. The first time I remember seeing them was the start of the Audi programme when they had castor jacks for each wheel. The popular ones at the moment do indeed seem to be to air jack up and put it down on boards with castors on, but some (including the Lolas IIRC) simply have steerable wheels on the rear jack and use that (while the front wheels remain on the ground) to move the car around.
