Loved this scrap!
It looked like Lorenzo had nicked it with a nice hang-out overtake into turn one, then a successful switch-back when Rossi tried it on later and it looked to be all over. Then Rossi did a Gilles-esq dive on the final corner, just when it looked like he had met someone with equal race craft...
Superb.
Lorenzo must be the future dominator of MotoGP.

I'm not sure why anyone could dislike Rossi to be honest - he's everything Schumacher wasn't and disproves the rule that arrogance is often confused with the fact that English isn't their mother-tongue.
I agree though that Lorenzo is the guy to assume his mantle and what a great rider he is.

Amazing couple of laps, I was actually laughing to myself when Rossi nipped back round the outside of Lorenzo whilst on the brakes into the first corner. It was the way he pulled his knee back in, snuck round the outside on the white line then re-took the racing line!
The last lap was breathless stuff though, Rossi had to make that move, he couldnt be outdone by Lorenzo.
How good does Lorenzo look for the future though, a World Champion in the making for sure.

Utterly fabulous. Real racing in the purest form. Absorbing, exciting and accessable.

They are a bunch of complete nut cases.
Truely the best racing we've ever witnessed T think, and Moto GP given us this sort of racing/crumpet for some years now.
