Tyre pressure gauges?

Can I have some recommendations for a tyre pressure gauge?

It can be either analogue or digital, I don't particularly care as long as it is accurate. I'm currently using the calibrated "pencil" style, which while accurate, it is sometimes a little awkward to use if time is of the essence.

Snap On/Blue Point are most of the ones I've seen mechanics use in the years I've been racing. The guys at the tyre manufacturers tend to have others though, can't remember the makes the Dunlop guys used to have, sorry.

Halford do a cheapy one with a proper scale etc which is similar quality to much dearer ones I've seen!

Longacre digi gauge.

Best I have used.

Accurate to 0.5 psi.
Will withstand knocks and bumps too.

You will end up getting the Snap On one repaired for more time than you will actually use it.

agreed the Longacre one, mine is the analogue version but very good, even after 15 years of being bashed about at events it still works perfectly.

The longacre digital one uses standard watch batteries. The Strap-On one uses weird batteries that you can only get through your authorised Strap-On dealer. My mate had no end of probs with his.

Watch batteries?

I'm guessing it didn't provide much "stimulation" then?
