Going to Friday Practice - Advice

As a B'day prezzie the OH got us tickets to Friday Practice for the GP this weekend.

Whats the usual parking situation on the Friday?
What Grandstand should I aim to spend some time in to get a good view/ear battering.

car park will be where they fancy putting you. If you get there early i reccomend the entrance to maggots on the outside.. stunningly close and the noise is just out of this world. Although you dont see much the share pace of them coming into there will make you respect the drivers 100% more than you do now.

Parking is straight forward enough on the Friday. If I were you I'd aim to get into the pit A or pit B depending on the weather ( Pit A is uncovered right in front of the pit garages, Pit B is the covered bit at the top of Pit A). The Maggots/Beckets chicane has to be seen to be believed as well . there's nothing like seeing an F1 car going full chat through there.
