Where is Best View for Gen Admin tickets at Silverstone F1

Heh guys, not been to Silverstone for long time to watch F1 but thought as last year I'd go!!

I only have General Admin for the Saturday - Sunday was sold out / too expensive!

Anyway wanted to know where you guys recommend for viewing? Are chairs a good option or a pain?

What time do you need to be there to get a good sopt on Saturday?

fold-up chairs are a good idea. Everyone has them, so when people sit they tend to form rows- strange I know.

I would suggest the outside of beckets, or the short straight between stowe and vale. We watched the race from here in 2007, and you got to see a lot of the cars at any one time, plus a large screen so you can watch the TV feed (bring binoculars)

Dont forget earplugs- they are noisier then any other racing car you've heard

And dont forget the support racing/qualifying. Make a day of it!

Everyone has their favorite spot, personally I enjoy Copse. If you take chairs, you'll be obliged to guard your pitch all day. If you rock up late, you'll have no chance with chairs, so leave them at home. Timing? I've seen the queue several hundred yards long at opening time (5am) on race day, with people eager to get the best spots, so I guess you take your chances. HTH.
