the shots are all very well composed. Sharp and in focus but they lack a feeling of speed. Having taen a fair few pics of f1's last year i understand how hard this is. Infact its the hardest part of shooting f1's imo

I know what you mean but it's difficult to get a sense of speed unless you are panning but if you haven't got an interesting background then I find it either too distracting or just not interesting enough. Unfortunately Silverstone does lack any really nice backgrounds, Oulton Park it ain't.

didnt realise you were a friend of mine on Flickr, I know what you mean with the background, the other thing is the wheel covers, you loose all the speed from the wheel except for the paint blur.
