You don't want to believe all you read in that article nor in Sports pro. There is a lot that is blatently wrong and which can be easily disproved. One wonders if the author had read the documents he was refering to. And things have moved on since then. Mosley was forced to accept that Ron Dennis did not know of any data being held 'illegally'. There was that rather staged picture on the steps of McLaren International Offices with a handshake between Moss and Dennis.

It was rather quietly dropped although there is still some antagonism between Moss and Brundle evidently. There were rumours about restrictions on his grid walkabout and threats to his passes.
Reading th above, though, what got me was Bernie's crticism of the team's complaints about the money being syphoned off into his coffers. He said that he'd offered the teams a deal and they'd turned it down.

Just as well. You'd have to be some kind of nut to do a deal with him. They'd all be broke now.

I'd be careful. That looks fairly libelous, especially the BMW threats. Would suggest that they took it down after some legal threats...

The allegation of a $300M kiss from Bernie is none too savoury, either.
One does wonder why the infamously litigious Mosley has not brought an action regarding either allegation. They could not possibly be true...

Thanks for finding that. Yes some of the detail has been proved wrong with hindsight and the fact that the author was, to a degree creating mischief.

I had read/heard the suggestion/fact that Bernie had given Max a substantial amount of money elsewhere before. The fact that no litigation has proceded on those comments speaks volumes imo...

max and bernie are ripe for a full european commission investigation type thing into how they have handled their dealings etc. would be quite nice to have the *whole* story exposed wouldn't it leading to their immediate suspension - not sure they are worthy of jail time although that would be quite nice too. not that any of this will ever happen...
