Laguna Seca is one of my favourite circuits, hopefully will be visiting in September. I barely blinked watching last years race here last year. Looking good for Rossi but unfortunately not good for Toseland.

Laguna Seca always a special circuit in my books. Live coverage starts in a few minutes on BBC2....starts 10 pm IIRC. Roll on..

It seems JT started even more promptly. I assume you are on BBC2, not Eurosport. They had a 30min build up

yeah, I watched all of the quali and practice on euro and decided to give the beeb a chance. That was silly of me.

There was a build up on the red button I believe.

15 minutes, but they still had the ridiculous start coverage, cutting away half way around the parade lap to synchronise with BBC2, returning as the bikes left the line

Still a good race. A lot of drivers were suffering with either illness or injury. I think Lorenzo did fantastic to catch Rossi, but not enough to see Lorenzo land. Not forgetting Pedrosa, just went off into the distance until the last lap. Love seeing the change of direction down through the corkscrew, no idea how they stay on the bikes there.

Yes I agree, I like a bit of a build up to the start, no Suzy Perry? the whole thing was poor.

The coverage on British Eurosport was it's usual top quality. Build-up started at 9.30.

Don't know if it was because of the time difference, or if the Beeb had a skeleton crew at Laguna Seca, but it has to be said that their MotoGP coverage is usually a lot better than that.

They were half way round the first lap before I realised that this was the actual race and not the warm up or practice.
