having said that i'd love to see a 20 mins bhp edited highlights of a modern wrc event. I have a sneaking suspicion that its the coverage that is crap.

Better than an entire season on Dave, you just don't get camera angles like that anymore. Bring back chase-helicopters, and get rid of the box-ticking big jump and water splash.

At least this vid has the rather tame sound of the engines which the OP's vid was sadly lacking in. Why overlay the beautiful sound of engines/transmission and exhaust and tyres ripping up the gravel or tearing at the tarmac with some orchestral soundtrack? Makes no sense to me and certainly doesn't do anything with my neck hair standing in the forests at dawn in the 80s listening to the first sounds of an Audi Quattro working its way ever closer until you start to hear the marshall's whistle punctuating the rising cacophony of a noise from hell ....now that gets the neck hair going.
