Is James Allen back?

Unless my ears were mistaking me, was cock James Allen in the drivers interview after the GP?. I swear it was him asking the questions behind the microphone? (the drivers interview is normally conducted by someone from the FIA). Did anyone else pick up on this? Please god, NO!

Yes I thought that at the German GP but couldn't believe the BBC would take the useless,irrelevant sod onto the new team. Maybe Louise Goodman is making brews for everyone!

I think James Allen is at all the post race interviews as an independent journalist.

As well as writing his own blog he does stuff for the Financial Times. I've also heard that he has been the host for the post race conferences in the past.

I really am going to have to re-watch some old ITV F1 footage cause I never found Allen offensive to my ears. Legard does genuinely irritate me but I don't do the Red Button thing cause I think Brundle is the best of the bunch.

someone. maybe Windsor, decided it was inappropriate for a FIA employee be asking the questions but also be a competitor. Or maybe he's too busy gearing up his entry.

All true, but no different to other races. It is, of course, possible that he has been genuinely affected by the Massa incident.

All true, but no different to other races. It is, of course, possible that he has been genuinely affected by the Massa incident.

More likely the Surtees one, as his own son is racing in F2 this year.

He's been doing it for 8 years (with James Allen) so I don't think he'd only just start getting bothered by it.
