Monza F1 parking ?

Whilst we are en route to Slovenia etc on holiday I decided it would be great to see Schuey in an F1 car again. so i bought two 3 day Grandstand tickets for Monza.
However we will be in the car. Anyone know what its like for parking etc ? Can you take the car into the circuit or not, or park n ride ???

The circuit is in a public park, near to houses and a small industrial estate. Last year our bus, went with MRI, brilliant outfit, parked in the industrial estate, about 15-20 mins walk from the park/circuit for free. This was on the side of the circuit with start/finish straight if that makes sense.
You want to drive a car, into the middle of Monza, on race weekend???
Everytime I've been it's been a small meeting and there's been no issue with traffic, but as it's in the park, on GP weekend I should think it'll be a nightmare. I've never been though so I stand to be corrected (to the GP I mean).
I would think park and ride would be a better bet, but don't know how it works over there.

Saw Schuey's "last" (I thought) Monza in 2006.
No problems to park, follow signs for Monza circuit from Autostrada, 15 min or so (and I arrived about 10 o'clock not "so" early, anyway you want to soak up the atmosphere and look at the banking, I mean the banked track not HSBC ) later dumped the car in a park and ride. Another 10 min or so bus arrived 10 min walk from the Parabolica. Amazingly for Italy, seemed reasonably well organised.

I've always gone in from the east and headed for Lezmo, there are several car parks adjacent to the track. Never had a problem just rolling up on the day to park & buy admission tickets. Standing up close to the fences is pretty spectacular particularly the chicanes and Lezmo, taking a brolly & walking shoes is well worth the pain IMHO

We are going in Krissies SLK350 so it should be a fun ride. I will have the Friday to suss out where to park I suppose. We are to collect tickets at Verdano entrance. So I will aim to get to that side of the park anyway.
Then for Sat & Sun we will just need to get up early ! Enjoy Spa.

There's a park and ride scheme. You turn up, the roads are blocked, you park your car, get on bus, watch race, get on bus, get in car, go home.
Repeat and fade...
Alternatively, go to a town nearby and get the train in. Way less hassle and faster and cheaper and...etc.

Me too - much better than anything this country could organise. Turn up, park, wait for a bus, walk into the circuit. After the race, do the opposite and away you go. Actually looking at the rubber on the tarmac and the marbles lying around immediately after an F1 race is not to be missed IMHO. Even if you are aware of the phenomena you will still marvel at the first hand effects of it 
There aren't many races where there is no other race after the F1 and you have access to the track. It's certainly one of the features to enjoy your weekend in Monza IME.. but then again I prefer Garda to Como & Milano so maybe I am slowly becoming a daft OF

These year I am going to attend Monza GP, can you (or anybody else) show on the google-map good parking area in Monza? It would be perfect it it is same like -Turn up, park, wait for a bus, walk into the circuit.-
