The Portimao circuit is my favourite new circuit. Tilke could learn a lot from the layout. F1 have tested there, I hope they go there for a race.

Just watching this on V+. Awesome racing. I went to school with Andy Meyrick who races one of the Kolles Audis. Caught up with him at the Silverstone Classic last weekend - he was telling me about taking Eau Rouge at over 180mph. Amazing cars the modern LMP1s...

Couldn't agree more - another 100bhp would be fantastic. Looks like Andy had a troubled race this time but he's doing well this year. Can't wait for Silverstone in September.

Pouring for most of the race, not many left spectating towards the end, but a fantastic battle as Alan McNish and Stephane Ortelli in the Audi R8 chased down the Creation of Nicolas Minassian and Jamie Campbell-Walter. The R8 took it in the end, by only seconds. Watching Alan Mcnish on a charge, going through Becketts, in the darkness - awesome stuff!
