Taz Tracking Set-Up

Managed to get the Taz back in shape . . . well Tim did (more or less 
) for CC next weekend but I'm going to struggle to get the tracking checked and set before Saturday (we managed to find and get a new steering rack installed too!). Can anyone help with the kit and the knowledge on Saturday? (1.5 mm - 3.0mm toe in I believe - thanks Dave) Thanks

4 * axle stands
2 * aluminuim poles
a length of washing line
a steel ruler
ideally you have the centre off the chassis marked front and rear but you can do it without.
You basically make a box around the car, this the poles front and rear, and the string down the side. you can center it up, by measuring from the hubs to the string. which should be the same on each side.
you can then measure from the front and rear of each rim to the string, the difference giving you the toe in / toe out.
If I can get there sat am I'll bring ours over, together with the castor/camber guage... We do have proper 4 wheel optical stuff but the string computer is simpler to use and works in daylight !!
