Scheckter's beer

I was up in Brum on the weekend and ordered an ale from a restaurant, I was surprised not only to see the MS-paint made label, but it turned out the beer was brewed on a farm owned by 1979 world champ Jody Sheckter.

Good drop too, I imagine it's a bit better than Trulli's wine

Laverstoke - top farm, top quality produce. Our local GBK sources their beef from Laverstoke, and the burgers are absolutely heavenly!

That was the restaurant I was at actually. Always thought of them as just another of those chains but good on them for getting local meat and beer in.

They are really "just a chain", but a damn good one.

On fathers day last year, with Scheckter being a "local" to Basingstoke, they had his 79 car out in front of GBK, he was signing pictures, smiling, etc. On the same day they also had last years Renault. Sorry, but no comparison overall - the Ferrari was an uber gorgeous piece of engineering, whilst the Renault was more like something out of a computer game (my son said that the wheel of the renault looked like something off a Playstation).
