Another disaster from Ferrari - why they didnt check him out thoroughly before releasing his comeback to the whole world is beyond me and shows how blinkered they must have been about the "Great" Schumi.

Question is - Was he too slow or too Old or just too unfit?

I heard these rumours yesterday,

what a let down, i appreciate its his health, but gutted as i had that friday off to sit in and watch practice qualifying and the race,

so i guess we just have Mark Gene now, unless Mansell is free.

What a shame. He was pretty knocked about in that bike crash, so I doubt it's anything to do with his pace. I was looking forward to having him back in F1 for a short time.

I suppose they'll have to chuck in one of their test drivers.

Yesterday evening, I had to inform Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo and Team Principal Stefano Domenicali that unfortunately I'm not able to step in for Felipe. I really tried everything to make that temporary comeback possible, however, much to my regret it didn't work out.

Oh thank god for that! I never understood why one of Ferrari's TWO reserve drivers were never put forward for the temporary seat.
