that is the downside, on closer inspection if it was eligible for Le Mas Classic or something then maybe OK, but it does seema little steep. having said that they are a rare beastie nowadays and very competitive.

It's that price as it no longer conforms to latest FIA acceptance criteria. An FIA Griff bult to a similar standard would be approaching 100K.
