Great vid, I enjoyed that a lot. Thanks for posting. I particularly liked some of the wet overtakes including the double-overtake on Prost (Britain '88 was it?).

I also like the Roxette track although maybe I should keep that to myself!

Australia '87 actually! Completely forgot about it myself until I watched the full race again for the first time in years.

That's a great VID and a real tribute. Some brilliant moves, but he did have the benefit of the Honda turbo engine from 1988 onwards and no other team got a look in for race victories during that period.

Great vid , had a look at your Hamilton vid - its Brilliant!, i support Hamilton, i think hes a real racer. Better than Button IMO.

Oh no, sorry, just realised which one you meant! Yeah was Silverstone '88, but Prost was being LAPPED at the time (we were sat at the Woodcote chicane too!). By far his worst most fuct-up race ever.

I have to say that I was not much of a Senna fan, I think this was mainly because I've always tried to support British drivers, however watching that reminds me that the guy was a bloody genius behind the wheel and deserves a lot of respect.

I was never a fan either, doesn't stop him being a great talent though.

Yes, that's the one! Some of his overtakes in the wet were phenomenal, going onto the wet line when everyone else was rigidly sticking to the dry line. Thanks again for posting.

Top video....thanks for doing it. I was never around for that era of F1 and it certainly looks different.

I saw a vid of Senna taking an NSX around Suzuka (I think) and didn't think much of the driving.....but this really shows his class (and the cars ability!) and there are some cheeky moves in there that noone could get away with today....made me laugh at points.

There are at least two vids of Senna in the NSX at Suzuka, I watched both earlier and I would be interested in your critique if you're being serious.

I think you will find that pretty much whatever he's doing it's likely to be intentional, it's not a race, he's throwing it around a little and having fun, he's probably also playing to the camera.

I noticed one lock-up and he exited on understeer from a couple of bends, if you're being really picky I would guess these are what you referring to. I would surmise that he's just pushing the car very hard and they are not so much mistakes as side effects that in a non-race environment are of no consequence and he was fully expecting them to occur.

I shall try and find the vid, watch it again and see if my initial impression still stand. It was Japanese and was on youtube (driving in his loafers ISTR).

I'll try to get back to this later on.
