Who would you replace Badoer with ?

Luca Badoer was never going to be able to competitive. Lack of experience, lack of race experience (in recent history)

Giancarlo Fisichella is going to be Ferrari's test driver next year - surely you would try and do a deal with Force India and secure his services to the end of the season.

Perhaps a wild card choice might be PK junior ?

However Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali has left the door open to replace Luca Badoer after the Belgian Grand Prix if the Italian does not manage to raise his game.

Wouldn't it be a good time to evaluate some new drivers - I still don't think Massa's coming back. So you'll have Alonso as team leader and they'll need someone to play support for him.

Shame that Kubica's done the deal with Renault - bad choice for him me thinks.

I'm really hoping Schumacher sits in an ice bath for a few weeks and comes back for Monza. Would be great for Ferrari fans and also the sport for him to come back at their home GP. In reality who can they use though?! I'd also love to see Anthony Davidson with an F1 drive...maybe they could hire him for a few races!

Given the lack of testing allowed it needs to be someone as current as possible - Bordais? He was used to the ferrari engine too. You wouldn't if you could give someone plenty of test miles but in extremis needs must!

Davidson would be a fantastic choice, but I think he's Brawn's test/replacement driver, I don't think they'd let him go if there was the possiblity of him taking points of their drivers. I'd say give Senna or Piquet a go.

I know he's never driven for Ferrari but I think now is a good opportunity, and he won't be any worse than Luca either.

I think Bourdais is their best bet if they want someone to pick up a few points and help them fight for the constructors championship. If they're happy to give up entirely on this year then maybe give a young driver from GP2 a chance but that doesn't seem to be the 'Ferrari Way'. When was the last time they brought a driver of their own through the ranks to a race seat? I don't think they'll want to risk bring a 'new Schumacher' through for someone else to benefit from (like Eddie Jordan did)and they seem to be happy with the Alonso/Massa/Kimi options they have now for the next few years.

I really think that part of the reason he didn't race was that:
its a track he doesn't know.
if he didn't get the result we all would of expected, then he's reputation would of tarnished

He loves Spa - i think that and Suzika are is favourite tracks ?

Badoer is slow but im not sure Ayrton is quite race fit unfortunately!

As has been mentioned DC would be a good bet .

Sadly ,Badoers time out of competition really showed - some of his lines and braking points were interesting, to say the least.

Brundle had a good suggestion - stick him in the car and at least he could commentate and add some value to the experience!

Possibly, but I think he has more chance of hitting his apexes and getting within a second of P19 in qualifying
