Hi everyone!

Looking for a bot of help/advice!

Just about to start motor racing and I need to purchase/find a racing transponder!

Does anyone know where I can get one from?

We use AMB in RC racing too, very reliable. A company has made AMB compatible transponders for half the price of the AMB's, maybe someone has done something similar for the full size version.

As TSL timing monitor most races aswell as upplying the transponders, what is the selling point in the UK of the AMB product?

Best thing is to keep an eye on eBay and on the classifieds for somewhere like the 750MC - I managed to pick up a hardwired one for £150 when most on eBay go for something like £200!

I've timed, motoX, Supermoto, classic bikes, and KRC and Derby Phoenix club racing and all have used AMB, never come across TSL, so no idea what AMB is like against TSL

AMB make the transponders, TSL is the timing company using those transponders - they are not competing products

Holy hell.....if they are one of the same product....how does TSL justify marking them up to $1Billion ??

There is a big difference between the advertised price on both sites.
