Just think, if he had been up to scratch and getting ferrari points, the media would have been behind him. As it is, he did a st job ans was quite rightly replaced as a damage limitation exercise. Ferrari would have been better off, reputation-wise, in the last two races by just fielding Raikkonens car.

A complete t*@t trying to blame the media... There was absolutely nothing good about his performances, apart from the fact he gave us all something to laugh about! If he had been quick in qualifying but lost pace in the race, then you could have put it down to fitness but the guy had no pace at any time.

If it's lack of seat time, then what about Alguesuari or virtually any other rookie these days... It wasn't as if the guy was just 1 second off the pace, it was more like 2-3! Possibly acceptable 20-30 years ago when there were a few more pay-as-you-go drivers but not in this day and age and especially in a Ferrari.

Surely the real reason was simply that Ferrari weren't pleased about being a laughing stock...

it is worth remembering the other rookies have been racing, whereas badoer hadnt for a long time, however that imo only accounts for 1 second not 3! gene should of been given the seat.
