McLaren confirm Rosberg talks

Mercedes-Benz sports chief Norbert Haug has confirmed that McLaren are in talks with Nico Rosberg regarding a race seat in 2010.
The young German has been strongly linked with a move to McLaren as doubts continue to be raised over Heikki Kovalainen's future, but until now nobody at McLaren had confirmed their interest in Rosberg.
"Nico is an option. He is a candidate with whom we are talking," Haug told the Associated Press.
"Clearly, a driver like Rosberg is on the list of many teams, including ours," he added.
However, Haug insisted that the Woking-based outfit had not yet decided on their line up.
The 24-year-old, whose contract with Williams expires at the end of the season, has made no secret of the make that he is looking elsewhere for a drive, telling the German Press Agency that: "I have a preference and it's looking good, but there are several options."
