Maserati F1 Team?

Ferrari appear to have quite a few drivers signed for next year (Kimi, Massa, Alonso, Schumacher and Fisi) and 5 drivers obviously doesn't go into 2 available seats. There's a slim chance they'll be able to run a third car, but what's the possibility of Fiat allowing for Ferrari to run a junior team - be it Alfa or Maserati?

With the rumours of Mercedes looking to take a large stake in Brawn as well as their current involvement with McLaren, would Fiat/Ferrari look to increase their exposure as the costs of F1 come down?

Very doubtful with the way the teams have to buy a slot in F1 these days. Slim to none.

They'd probably want to sell the naming rights to some Middle Eastern concortium rather than give them to Maserati for 'free'.

STR are currently using Fezza engines, currently are up for sale and are currently based in Italy.......hmmmmmm

Good spot - but part of the reason they are up for sale is that from next year they will have to design their own chassis (as opposed to using the same one as RB). Can't see Ferrari/Fiat wanting to run a second team unless they could use the same chassis......
