I for one am quite excited about them potentially winning the Constructors Championship and it seems they are now very close to pulling off a fantastic achivement.

With regards to the Drivers title, the Brit in me (of course) wants Jenson to secure it, but I can't help thinking that Rubins deserves it for working away at things so damm hard.

I guess it should be a fair fight over the last few races, I just hope they can keep it clean!

Maybe Jenson has enough of a points advantage to pull it off.

I agree with the above.

I want JB to win, but deep down inside I dont he has proved that went in the second half of the season.

Rubens was out classed in the first year though- as stupid as it sounds neither deserves the tittle.

Brawn absolutely deserves to win the constructor's title, but I think that one of the drivers will merely inherit the WDC from Hamilton.

Sadly, I also think that it will always be remembered that way.

IMHO it has been an unpredictable year, the first 3 races were decided by rule interpretation relating to the diffusers, and then everyone played catch-up for a while.

The big stories have been the turn-around achieved by McLaren, Ferrari and, amazingly, Force India, not to mention the demise of Honda, BMW and probably Renault and Toyota.

I have not tried to count the number of overtaking manoeuvres this year, but the new regulations massively failed to deliver on their primary aim.

IMHO it has been a team’s year for success and not a close driver’s championship!

I think Hamilton deserves to be WDC, but remember last year that he was only really racing the Fiats, Not even his own team mate! Button has had to compete with Barri, Vettel & Webber, and now Hamilton, Kimi etc.. It's not been easy for him!!

I am really pleased that Brawn are doing so well, and am really happy for Button. Just goes to show that with the right car, you can become a title condender(maybe not for Kovi!)

Six different winners this year (so far). What more could anyone wish from a WDC? By any comparison, Brawn have done an exceptional job this year, and are fully deserving of any glory that comes their way.

Many might suggest that Ross merely picked up the peices fom Honda, but just how many people would have the balls to pony up and take on that kind of responsibility, and not just clear their desk and ring around for the next best paid job? The biggest gambles always reward the most.

I really want to see the team win the constructors championship, think they deserve it. I'm not really sure who I want to win the drivers championship though; I want button because I'm British, he's such a nice guy and think it's either now or never, but I also think Rubens as he is possibly even nicer and has been going for years and years and deserves to win it after playing bodyguard to Schuey for so long.

Yes, but Hamilton had to beat the same competition, week in and week out. No-one has mounted a challenge to Button throughout the season. Arguably, he's had it easier (all things are relative, after all) than LH did last year.

Top marks to brawn, they deserve to win, all the hard work developing a car with a tiny budget compared to the giants has been nothing short of a miracle. They do have 2 very good drivers in Jens and Rubino, they stole a march on everyone this season, almost a blitzkreig really, everyone was caught with their panties down.

I want Jenson to win, because I think out of the 2 he is the better driver. This year F1 has been a revelation who'd a thought Force India to be scrapping with the best, without doubt Lewis is a class on his own, especially with his recent performances, but early doors he was spitting his dummy out rather a bit. So a great year with a British underdog team giving the big boys a spanking, with the potential of another British Champion again, bring on the next race it'll be a corker.

I'm delighted for Brawn, and I feel they definately deserve it. As for the WDC, I'm enjoying the race. I'd like Rubens to take it, because he has worked so hard, but either way, it's been refreshing to see a multitude of winners. Hopefully another name will be added to the winning 6, before the season is out.

What is it with Ross Brawn? The man is nothing short of a prodigy. Big budget? Brawn will win. Another big budget? He does it again. Small budget? Erm, sure, no problem! It's just incredible.

Great to see RBR and Adrian Newey getting some hard-earned success. Particularly Webber, who is a legend in his own right. Mostly for telling Kimi that he's "talkin outta yer aaaahss".

But, wasn't the main development on the car done whilst it was still a Honda. IE with one of the biggest budgets going?

perhaps, but Ferrari and McLaren's excuse for not being on the ball this year because of fighting for the championship last year is somewhat hollow: they both have enough resources to work on different years cars at the same time.

Bottom line is 1/3 of the teams saw something in the rules that they could use, others didn't until too late. Or they did, but either chickened out or explained it badly to the FIA and got told no!

Also, the speed of the Brawn at the start of the year was never just the diffuser; the Toyotas and Williams were never as quick and have faded when others got up to speed.

If anything, the WDC this year should be remembered with more credit than any in the previous 10 years, as they won't have been driving for one of the big two: McLaren or Ferrari.

This year has been far more competitive, with half the field within a couple of 10ths of each other at most circuits.

Whoever comes out on top will be a very worthy champion in my book.
