WRC all have excellent car control and can all drive very fast over all sorts of terrains of course.The trick is doing it on pace notes, or better still blind.
Not saying he can't do it, just that there is more to rally driving than meets the eye.
Have you done any stage rallying yourself?

I think the OP has been watching 'WRC All Areas' (or whatever its called) on Dave this afternoon.
I caught part of it earlier where there was a feature on Block with an interview. During which he stated his admiration for the WRC and how he'd love to take part, believing he has the driving skills but not the actual rally skills (learning stages, pace notes, tyre choice etc) to really compete.
Personally I think he would suck in anything except a super special, and even then I can't see him being that great unless they include a series of doughnuts inside an aircraft hanger.

He has so much fun and can control a car so well - doesn't really say to me he'd do badly in rally.

Also, Ken's main occupation is not titting around in Scooby's in warehouses. He's a founding partner of DC Shoe Co USA. He has also been a rally driver in the USA with mixed successes. Here's some of his results:

I think a few people have seen the youtube videos and assumed (wrongly) that he's a one trick pony. The reality is that he's had more success and made more money than most of us can dream about. Comparisons to WRC drivers are wholly irrelevant.

He could probably do reasonably well in PWRC. But I think he would probably lose himself quite a bit in the WRC category proper. The competitiveness of American rallies aren't exactly top-notch.

I'm sure he could buy a seat... He's certainly plenty of money to throw around.
If you knew much about the WRC you would know that most of the current WRC drivers (excluding Loeb, Hirvonen and Latvala?) all pay for their drives.. SO with that in mind I'm sure this man with no talent could score regular points in the WRC if he decided to wedge up to M-Sport or Citroen.
As for that program on DAVE.... Don't get me started!
