Senna to sign to Brawn ?

The brawn line up for next year looks very open

Ruben's is out - no doubt. WDC or not this is his swan song.
JB - don't rule out a big pay check to move to Lotus - though I'd be surprised if he takes the money again

Bruno Senna is talking about a race seat for next year - makes sense for Brawn to look for some nice new sponsors with the Senna brand ?

Button and Senna - seems like a nice line up for Brawn

(though I think they'll be at the back of grid next year - no budget this year - can't see them being on pace next year without Honda's R&D budget)

Do you think Jenson's career would have been different if he'd stuck with the managers that got him into F1. Buy lots of toys to annoy Flavio when the results weren't there. Sign for Williams for 2006 then pay to not go there, no contract for 2010 yet (so hardly negotiating from a position of strength at the moment) and his voluntary pay cut this year looks a bit silly now Brawn are being bought out by Mercedes....

Lotus, well Hill went to Arrows but I'd imagine Mercedes Brawn for a dollar would be more fun.

It would be great to see Senna in F1.

Aren't Mercedes pumping money into the team for next year? And given the whole Brawn "fairy tail" that has pretty much dominated the season, I don't think they'll have any trouble attracting money to keep the R&D momentum going.

I think Button and Senna (still feels strange saying the name) would be a very good combo.

Button has the pace but sometimes seems to lack a bit of spirit. I'm guessing Senna will be a hungry hungry lad.
Even if Senna is unproven in F1 and to be fair the excitement is due to his late Uncle, He still draws lots of publicity and surely the highest profile 'young gun'

Will also be good to see how much of his Uncle's talent and grit he has.

Brawn recently said they had signed up a sponsor, IIRC for the next 2 years at least. Nick Fry was very confident they had their budget in place for these years.

Plus Honda paid for this years running costs and development of next years car. No lack of funds.

It would be good to see the Senna name back in F1, Although I'm sure there'd be a huge about of pressure in Bruno to perform as well as the great Ayrton.

Not convinced about the idea to be honest: Senna was making a lot of noise at the start of the year when it was all up in the air and seemed to have a mega sulk when Brawn went for Rubens instead.

Even less reason for Brawn to go for him this year with a few established drivers probably looking for a good home....

I would of thought Senna more likely to be under Frank Williams' wing.

I have just found out Bruno is advised by Gerhard Berger, so maybe I could be completely wrong on the MB front.

I hope not, I am not a fan of Bruno.

Well Brawn have plenty of funding in place for the future so a "Pay driver " is not requred...

I would predict Buton & Rosberg at Brawn for next year ...

How about Senna at Virgin/Manor ....a nice tie up for Richard Branson ...?

Did you not see the great big Canon logo's down the side of the Brawn cars at Singapore? Wouldn't mind betting that it will be the Canon Brawn Mercedes team next season in full Canon colours.

I would have thought Senna will pop up at one of the new teams. Barrichello as "sensible" development head and Bruno Senna as media interest and fund supplier at Lotus? Sounds good to me.

He threw a hissy fit earlier in the season which did not go down well. He is not as marketable as, say, Rosberg or Senna. He is in the twilight of his career, whereas Rosberg is just getting into his stride and Senna is just starting out. It's all about the image.

Thats the kind of story I'm thinking will happen. Someone picking up RB for his experiance and sticking a young 'un next to him. BUT only if someone has enough cash to not need both drivers bringing in cash.
