Rear Camber advise

Hi,

could anyone that races a Tuscan tell me the typical rear camber the have set at the rear.

Would this vary much depending on how wide the rears are? Likley going to be on about 225 - 245 semi slicks (Yokos).

Hi Jon,
Long time no hear...working hard on the Tussie I hope.
Thats too small for Tuscans, but we run 235 slicks (245mm) all round and run -1.5 on the rear.
We do run very stiff now due to the rear wing, so if you car is softer I'd go a touch more, but no more than -2. I pretty sure that the tuscans don't use much more on the rear. -8 on the front tho.

Griffith (The old one - I'll have to update the TVR Monster page on it sometime!) Yep no wings! (the thought - eek).

So 2 degs sounds like a good setting for 225 - 245 Yoko type tyres.

Start in 3 weeks (but huge amount been done in the background) so it should go together fairly fast.

thats Kind of the same with the sag.. no much actual progress so far, other than collecting loads of bits, getting stuff made... waiting for chassis mods and cage, but then thats done it should happen quite quickly..

Yep and my "Man" has said "This is the last one I do for you, I am moving somewhere smaller when its done!".

Talked to the right man last night and Andy you were spot on for Radials (not slicks) on a Griff neg 2 deg at the back.

You really should see the 2 SPA 6 hours cars that have just done the race (just built) Pant wettingling Awesome (on Steroids).
