Donnington Park - racing in 2010

So, what is going to happen? GP excluded will there be BTCC, F3, BSB etc racing there in 2010 or will the building work render the track un-usable?

Have there been any public(ish) announcements relating to next years racing? I know the exhibition centre will be shut down next year but don't know about the actual race track.

We keep hearing "announcement coming soon", and so far there's nothing. The deadline for F1 is tomorrow apparantly, but either way they're screwed. If they get on with it there'll be no racing at all until the F1, if they finally admit defeat then they will still need to work like mad to put the track back to normal in time for 2010.

I know what you mean, they've got to fill in where the tunnel was going to go, redo all the gravel traps, sort the ground out in the middle, and put the Dunlop bridge back in. I don't see why they wanted to get rid of it to begin with, its one of the main things we associate with Donington.
