Anyone looking for a competent race tech apprentice?

I recently finished studying at the National College for Motorsport, Silverstone at which I achieved level 2 in vehicle technology (motorsport).

I’m currently looking for a race team at which I can further my skills and complete my apprenticeship (level 3)

I have also studied business accounting and economics at a previous college therefore understand with the current climate not may companies are looking to take on employees. However I believe I would be a perfect candidate as I would be a strong investment to any company Learning at a fast rate and not having the initial outlay cost of a full time employee.

Whilst studying at Silverstone I worked on various vehicles including; Formula Renault, Formula ford, Formula BMW, Ginetta G20, Honda CBR 600, 2000 Focus WRC, Ferrari F430/360 challenge cars, Radical SR8 and a Rally prepared Mitsubishi evo 7.

Some of these vehicles were at race teams from which I can get full references.

I will also take on work helping any amateur teams at weekends etc to enable me to further my knowledge and gain contacts.

You need to be sending you info to the race teams, rather than on here.

I have sent info to race teams but haven't had much feedback so thought I would give this ago too.

If anyone knows of any race teams in the Yorkshire area could you post contact details please there maybe one or two I've missed.

No harm in bunging your name about anyway you can, though it's not the best time to try and get involved in motorsport (or graduate in anything!)

Good luck, keep plugging away. If I were in this possition I'd be looking at which teams will be expanding in anyway next year, the only ones I can think of are probably the new F1 teams

Have you tried ten tenths? That is a more motorsport honed forum. Just a thought

IF you have not got anything by next month, try the BTCC and BSB teams as they will be preparing for next year! In fact, try to get along to Oulton this weekend for the BSB and see if you can talk to anyone there. Again, just a thought.

Try specific car sereis forums as well.

Thanks for the info.

I have worked for a bike team in the past, won the championship with them However I dont have the same passion for bikes as I do for the cars.
