Don't get me wrong, I was the victim of similar injureis back in May and I think he's made a great recovery I have a similar problem with my right eye, when I laugh, smile, get tired the eye closes up, I have no control over it. In fact I've only been back driving for about 5 weeks, and there's no way I feel capable of stepping inbto a racing car or any kind at the moment.If it were me I would be chuffed silly by the progress made.

Im a little surprised that alongside all the 'reconstructive' work he had done, they didnt lift his eye a little - It does look like its very uneven still.
Perhaps this is something for the future, let the worst of it heal then a little lift to sort the appearance.
Sometimes they just leave it be, in my case the right eye is 4mm set back from the lrft, but the surgeons sre undecided as to if the risk of another operation is worth takin for something that is basically cosmetic. I was an ugly bugger anyway so makes no difference to me!!Perhaps this is something for the future, let the worst of it heal then a little lift to sort the appearance.

He will be back and faster than Fisi. I know thats not saying much at the moment.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Ferrari driver said it would not be possible to return for his home race next week, but is not ruling out racing in the final event of the season.
"It would be too close to the limit," Massa said of returning in Brazil. "We'll see for Abu Dhabi, we'll need the FIA's authorization. It depends on this test [with the F2007]."
He added: "I perfectly remember how to drive. My worry isn't to immediately get a good laptime, but just to run again. In any case you need a good car and a good set-up."
The Brazilian, out of action since his accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix, admitted he felt lucky to have walked away from it.
"The damage could have been very serious and, considering the way I feel now, I have no doubt: I was very lucky. I've often seen again the crash on TV and also myself with the injured eye immediately after. It's shocking, but I was asleep and couldn't feel anything."
Massa also welcomed Ferrari's decision to hire Fernando Alonso as his team-mate for 2010.
"He's a really good driver. We'll be a good pairing and I hope to finish in front of him!"
