Famous Rally Jump

I'm doubtful my poor description will help much but here goes - somewhere in the murky depths of youtube i once watched a rally video where there was a jump which looked like they were driving off off of a cliff. May have been africa/cyprus. Does anybody have any more info on this or even a link?

Description is as sketchy a i promised but i have faith in the Ph massive.

Probably Mine-shaft at the Rally of Canberra. It literally is a mine shaft! Many rally drivers (and cars) have fallen victim to its vicious maw, like this Mitsubishi Galant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxiyERUauwQ

The thing that surpsises me about the mineshaft smashes, is that no-one, marshalls or public, went to help - what if the crew were injured, are thye expected to sort it out themselves

What is more scary is how close the spectators and barriers are to the road. If the driver gets even a little bit out of shape upon landing, a crash is inevitable. There is actually a turn just after the jump, so even after a solid landing, the driver doesn't have any time to breath.

I am astonished, not just at the jump, but also that Canberra has anything so exciting!

What astonishes me is the fact there werent say 10 marshals at such a known dangerous location and that they werent over to the car within seconds, I imagine there should also be marshals at the very top of the hill to stop the next cars, Im not sure what intervals they run at in Australia. Maybe there was loads of officials off cam I dont know but surprised that nothing happend for so long.
