I never expected him to be back this year anyway. Seemed pointless to rush him back from such a serious injury.

The only people who thought he'd be back appeared to be some of the press. The sort of people who'd write anything if they thought it'd make someone read it and screw the truth. (Ok thats most of them but you get my point)

I didn't have many expectations he'd be back this season, I had a chat with a doctor friend about his injuries, and frankly he is unsure/doubtful that Massa will ever recover to be fit enough to race an F1 car.

Don't think he's going to be back in 2010. I think Fisichella will get the seat for next year (or even Schumi). I suppose Massa has nothing to lose, if he does make it back and not get race results the press won't be hard on him due to the injury.

I would expect Ferrari got rid of Kimi as this may have been one of the conditions before Alonso signed up - not sure if he's keen on having another Hamilton type scenario happening again.
