Ginetta G50 about to take on the competition in the UAE

The Guys at Gulf-Sport in Dubai announced their plans to take on the field of the UAE GT Championship yesterday in the Ginetta G50 H/C that has been specially developed for the rigours of the high temps in the dust bowl that is Dubai..

What exactly are the high temp upgrades?



The G50 has so much potential for a one make series almost anywhere in the world I reckon.

I think if anything, they ought to offer it with a V8, just one considerably less expensive than the Zytek option.

Maybe the alloy OHC Mustang V8 or something? THAT would be something.

It really is a versatile car - exactly what Dean and Tomlinson wanted. We considered buying one to run a couple of years ago and I wish we'd done it - but having been burnt before with "rentadrives" we hesitated....

I wonder if the G50 C'ship regs here allow them to be run in HC spec? If it was a really warmish day?
