Any class C cars out there???

Evening all,

As many of you know by now I'm sure, I've jointly bought Tim's Tasmin with one of dad's sponsors. Now the bug seems to be spreading further, in that his other sponsor who was present at the weekend is tempted in a car of his own!

If anyone knows of a car for sale for reasonable money, please reply on here or drop me an e-mail and I'll pass the details on.

If all goes to plan, CTS Racing could have 3 cars out next year

Im not sure what happened to Simon Bowes ( bedlington auto) car I know it needed a motor and was robbed of a few parts when they built the griff but that should be available somewhere, actually there is always his griff as well. Tony Abrams might have another one left...

Laim o'tooles car was also available I dont know if it ever got sold Kev might know on that one..


There are a few about I'll do some digging around 22 tasmins were converted for racing since 2000

Thanks Graham - I'll see if I can speak to Bedlington Auto's about theres, only 20-30 mins up the road! I spoke to Tony at the weekend and think his other one has just sold.

Any others you could shed some light on would be greatly appreciated though Graham, cheers bud!

Food for thought. I might be interested in pulling the 5 litre motor from Mickey's Tasmin so a v6 could be fitted! Keep it in mind cos the cars fully sorted. Mick's Dad John

A few of you have been asking what the car is worth without the engine. Well I think its got to be fully loaded at £4000 or £3000 unloaded. Fully loaded includes 6 x wets wheels & tyres 6 x slick wheels & tyres, dater logger, transponder, fire Ex fully fitted to car. racing seat and harness all in date for next year. Price all this up at Deamon Tweeks and you know what im talking about....

I know it's not a c class but what happened to Steve Lewis's car. Last time I saw anything about it was a couple of years ago and he was asking a hefty price for it and claiming 400+!

Hi John, a very nice chap by the name of Ivor watson (Sarbec on here) has it now. Unfortunately the 2.8 JWD engine blew at Anglesey (in a big way ie big hole in the side of one of the cylinders!!) and he could not get his new Cossy V6 fitted and working in time for Oulton. The car is painted white now and has the number 11

I got Steve's car for a lot less than it was up for and had to spend a lot of ££££
and time to get it going.
