GTCup - Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - 24/25th October 2009

Anyone going?
All being well I'll be there on Sunday for the 2 races.
From what I've seen this year, it's been good racing with big grids.

Would have been there but we have decided to concentrate on getting the car ready for early testing next year.

I wont go up there even though Brands is only 10 minutes away, cant watch when i know i should be competing.

Shame - you ran well at the last outing at BH.
And you featured prominently in the MotorsTV coverage, nicely highlighting the differing budgets amongst the teams...

I can understand why you wouldn't go to spectate but there's a nice 2 hour gap on the Sunday between races - perfect for a couple of pints. That's my plan anyway

I'm not racing either, injured myself weightlifting and on the rowing machine in the gym!!!

Cars in bits now getting sorted for next season plus Ben, my son, is going to race the Frogeye so we're pretty occupied spannering!

I may go down Sunday?

It wasn't the same without a TVR in the field today

I only stayed for the first GTCup race. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I positioned myself in the pit lane for the end of the race. Ear-wigged VBH's piece to camera after she came in 2nd in class - she was genuinely delighted and came across well. The driver of the Porsche that she had a bit of an argument with at Graham Hill bend and Surtees may have a different opinion...

What's happened to Heritage GT field this year? Saw them earlier in the year and it was a small grid & again just 12 cars started today. It used to be very well supported as I recall.
