Not before he gives Bernie a kick in the b
ks to get the British GP sorted.
How about looking for a better circuit than Mangey Cours as well. France has a rich history of fantastic circuits that was lost whilst running at Magny cours.
How does it compare to Clemmont-Ferrand, Rouen, Reims. I even think that the Le Mans Bugatti circuit was better than Magny Cours, even if my hero Jim Clark described it as a "Mickey Mouse Circuit".
We want quality, not quantity.

The issue with 'Ricard is because Bernie owns it, he would not earn any fees from the race.

Le Mans is owned by the ACO and not the FFSA and so you would have similar problems to the BRDC ownership of Silverstone. As if Bernie is that stupid, he will get someone else to pay. So he coooould negociate with himself... go back to CVC and say 'we've saved the French GP, some nice chap has let us hold it at a lovely circuit in the south of the country, excellent facilities, only rub being the hard b
