I'd love to see Kimi in a car alongside Hamilton, so he can prove (or not) whether he's as good as some people think he is.

Personally I think he's a great driver, and will be a loss to the sport.

Me too, dont get me wrong, i would have liked him at Mclaren but his money grabbing antics show him up for what he really is. You would think he would want to take the Mclaren seat at any cost and test himself against Lewis while trying to prove Ferrari wrong.

The problem for Kimi is the number of sponsor events both at races and away from the track that McLaren want! Many moons ago I did events with DC and MH...across the world and between races there was more going on than there was testing and driving.

McLaren really give their 'Top Level Partners' good driver access for TV commercials, conferences, events / PR appearances and the suchlike.

Kimi does not do these well and it is a massive stumbling block regarding his relationship with a very media savvy McLaren.

Nothing. He told Toyota their offer wasn't enough.

If they offer him £50million he would still say it wasn't enough if he wants to race for Mclaren.

The journos can make 1 + 1 = 7. The facts are still the 1 + 1 part.

How do you know he won't take one at any cost? You don't, so stop going on and on until we know. He may well take it at any cost but may be trying to get the highest wage possible with certain quotes and tactics you hear. As said before, what is wrong with that?

Maybe you go to view a car you want to buy and are happy to pay the asking price before any haggling, but most people view a car, try to haggle the price to a price they would prefer to buy it at, but know if they can't get anything off it, they will take it anyway.

Take your blinkers off, Kimi should take what he is getting offered and be gratefull that he is being given a chance in a WDC winning car in 2010 - We all know Kimi is wanting a big pay day, the following comments from Haug give you an idea of whats going on :-
