I think it was a solid decision, given McLaren's veto, and the uncertainty over the Cosworth engine. Now the team is free to work making changes to accommodate a larger fuel tank and refining their aero. Their biggest problem seems to be aero sensitivity to dirty air. They should probably look at brake reliability as well, as Mark Webber has twice suffered from brake problems this season (debris congestion in Singapore, and brake fade in Abu Dhabi). They could also further look at improving their engine reliability by perhaps improving cooling.

Looking like a very competitive season next year!

I'm a bit worried about the engine regs, that the cosworths gonna be a bit good and the FIA will stick two fingers at the other teams "stuck" with rules that don't apply to cosworth, a political ruling not dissimilar to the double diffuser issue. I really hope not, and that todt will be less arrogant than mosley. But Frank Williams ain't stupid, and the FIA owe him a favour.. first to jump ship over the breakaway...

There were no issues with the brakes, the car didn't respond to the option tyre where are the Brawn did.

The Singapore failure was due to debris in the ducts following collecting something in the pit lane.
