Jenson has obviously pee'd off Bernie's Daughter ;-)



Newly crowned Formula One champ Jenson Button has been inundated with plaudits of late, but Tamara Ecclestone, lissome daughter of motor-racing boss Bernie, is singularly unimpressed.
'I don't think Jenson Button deserves to be the world F1 champion,' says the 25-year-old at the opening of Mayfair members' club The Red Room. 'He has been in it such a long time and never really came close to winning a championship.
'Suddenly the car is good and he's won the championship. He only won six races and they were all at the beginning of the season.
'If they'd all had the same car, then Jenson Button definitely wouldn't have won this season. Lewis Hamilton is a better driver and he's a nicer person.'
So why the animosity? Apparently, it stems from a trackside interview that Miss Ecclestone conducted with Button as part of her job with Sky Sports Italia.
Explains Tamara: 'He was just answering his phone in the middle of the interview and I was like: "Dude, I'm sitting here, what are you doing?" '

In good PH tradition, I'd like to state that I will happily take young Tamara up the Oxo Tower.

If she doesn't burst into tears, then she's entitled to comment on the 2009 F1 WDC. Button has done a bloody good job this year; a trust fund kid hasn't really got the right to judge his achievements.

Perhaps she thinks Button only got his job in F1 because of his father. Perhaps she thinks that at 19 he lacked experience. I see her point. It happens a lot.

Of course she is talking nonsense and has no doubt upset her father as he has previously commented on some WDC's not doing there bit to promote the sport so this does not look too good. However, i dont think Frank Williams and co have ever said that Jenson would have won the WDC this year if they all had the same car or have i missed that?
