It tends to be the most interesting road circuit, actually allowing overtaking at times. Just hope it isn't at the expense of a British GP.

Will the London Commissariat please note:

"The deal to secure the race's place on the calendar has been helped by the governments of Canada and Quebec, Montreal and Tourisme Montreal - who together have helped put together an £8.5 million annual investment plan for the next five years.

In return for the money, Montreal and its partners will receive 30 per cent of the profits from ticket sales for the grand prix - which will take place on June 13 next year."

A proper 2010 GP calendar:

11 April: Losail, Qatar
25 April Motegi, Japan
2 May Jerez, Spain
23 May Le Mans, France
6 June Mugello, Italy
20 June Silverstone, Great Britain
26 June Assen, Netherlands
4 July Catalunya, Spain
18 July Sachsenring, Germany
25 July Laguna Seca, US
15 August Brno, Czech Republic
29 August Indianapolis, US
5 September Misano, San Marino
19 September Balatonring, Hungary
10 October Sepang, Malaysia
17 October Phillip Island, Australia
31 October Estoril, Portugal
7 November Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia

Unfortunately it's for the bikes...

Thrilled it's back on for sure, and I'm certainly going some time in the next five years. I passed up a chance to go two years ago and was kicking myself at the thought I might not have a chance.

Proper race, proper atmosphere, girls from Montreal.

Works for me.
