I’m planning to visit Silverstone next year and would like to watch the action and take some photos from one of the Silverstone Paddock Suites.
Not looking for a VIP experience just a good location with clear vantage point for taking photos.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which suit to book a place in or company to book with, or a photo/diagram showing the relative positioning of the different suites?

All advice would be very much appreciated.

Give Janice Minton a call (I think she has PH log in as well). Their suite fronts the pit lane entry and the speed limit line is just about outside of them.

Any of the Brooklands suites should be OK.

All elevated with decent views over the "stadium" complex.

Dont get anything on the start finish straight. BRDC plonked their building on the complex for a good reason.

Based on a quick seach this suite (No. 40) looks like a good option, certainly has an unobstructed view:

Other pit lane suites I found were:
Suite (No. 10 & 14): http://www.churchfieldpublicity.com/suites.asp
Suite (No. ???): http://www.classicdreams.co.uk/silverstonesuite.ph...
Suite (No 33 & 35): http://www.selectmotorracing.com/SH_SILVERSTONE/si...

Having checked out the Brooklands Suites I would like something closer to the track, but found this one:

Any other suggestions?

Thanks
James

The start/finish straight suites are dull IMO. Just just get cars blasting by - with no overtaking.
Had a corporate jolly in one those ones with the terrace, once we had scoffed the free food - we went over to the grandstand opposite where you could see brooklands as well as the start/finish straight.
The No.40 one is probably the best of a bad bunch I would say. The reason they have 50" plasma screens is because you cant see sod all from your suite. And you have to sit inside watching the action on telly - which is a bit pointless IMO.

Perhaps not with the new proposed track layout
