Arai Helmets- where to buy

Anywhere reasonably priced to get Arai car helmets? Cheapest i've found is £525 ex vat from demon tweeks for the GP-5W.

Need one for work, but my boss is complaining about the price (GP Jet F is cheaper, but i would prefer a full-face helmet)

I think DW are the cheapest - just make sure it's the most recent batch though - not sure when the current helmets expire ?

Oh trust me- i've already played this card! Looking around it seems that DT are quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else.

If you are able to wait until the Autosport show (middle of Jan), you should be able to get good discounts there.

Arai has developed the new CK-6 junior kart helmet well ahead of new regulations. The Snell-FIA CMH 2007 (Children’s Motorsport Helmet) approval was developed to provide a suitable helmet for children to use in motorsports, rather than a helmet designed for the adult head (and neck) and shrunk down to kid sizes. The primary reason in doing this was for safety as a reduction in helmet weight will help to lessen the chance of neck injury following an incident. With two world, one European and five British karting championships won in 2008 by Arai users, the Japanese factory has worked closely with the FIA and Snell to produce its first ever extra, extra small (XXS) motorsport helmet. Young drivers can be assured of an original Arai CMH approved helmet with all the features unique to the brand The CK-6 includes a 4-point inlet/exhaust ventilation system with a dual chin vent, multi-density hybrid inner shell and a Coolmax washable lining. Filling the 90mm aperture is a 2mm thick visor complete with tear off posts and utilizing Arai’s new advanced visor pivot system. With this new regulation becoming mandatory for all under 15s participating in CIK FIA events from 1st Jan 2010, the CK-6 will be readily available for the new karting season. The UK will follow this from January 1, 2011, when CMH approved helmets must be used by all Cadets for MSA karting events. This helmet standard is not valid in CIK FIA events for anyone over the age of 18.
