G20 Differential Problem
Discussion
My brother and i are proud owners in the US of sister Ginetta G20's
I just received mine this past summer, here is the link to our road trip bringing it over a thousand miles home . . .http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=128&t=699106
The prior owner had rear end trouble and replaced the 4.1 quaife diff with a 3.6 ford. I have had a shop rebuild the 4.1 i received and install it into the car. Because the diff would bump teh frame and twist they bolted it to the frame in 4 locations and now i cant even hear the beautiful note of the exhaust over the noise from the diff. I think it is mostly resonant frequency vibration from too much bolting of the pumpkin to the frame. Any chance you fellows have a photo of how the quaife is supposed to be attached to the car so i could emulate the strategy and begin loving the car?
