I'm off to the Melbourne F1!

Other half got me and her 3 day (or even 4 maybe?) tickets to the Australian GP, gives us access to all of the various stands to watch the testing, qualifying and race.

Am sooooo excited, not been to a live race before!

Have been to Oz before, but only west coast (Perth) so looking forward to visiting Sydney and Melbourne.

Anyone else going?

Of course, you do mean the Australian GP. World Championship GPs are named after nations or principalities, not venues.

Yep, I'll be there, flying over from Perth on Thursday, watch Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and fly back monday. Wife and Daughter will be shopping, and even thinking of a show, but I will be lapping up all the motorsport.

Looking forward to it, what with Shoemaker back in F1.

I was there in 2002, awesome weekend. If I can remember rightly only 6 cars finished the race, Ralf vaulted over a Ferrari going into the first corner causing carnage right on front of me!
Ended up getting well and truly wrecked after the race down in St Kilda, Eddie Irvine was in the same bar quite drunk!
