Not even JT's superpowers stretch to being at the Autosport show and Dubai at the same time...

Given the choice of snow in Birmingham or racing in Dubai, someone remind me why am I going to Autosport?

First page of the results here - amazing number of Porsche & BMW cars, in fact the 13 top finishers are all those marques.

What with the weakness of the Pound, this must present an excellent opportunity to attract some of those teams over to Silverrstone in October (would prefer to see a greater variety of cars though!)

It was a cracking race- good circuit with no stupid chicanes, & great fun. It was nice to be able to get away for some sun and racing in the January gloom. Our Aston finished, so all in all it was a great event and well worth doing. Some pics courtesy of Insight F1:
