Hi all,

I'm heading out to LV in May and I'm looking for an outdoor go-kart track. Does anyone know of any? I can only seem to find indoor ones via google searches.

Cheers

Hmmm can't remember any off hand.

Ask the concierge of your hotel and then'll tell you in 2 seconds.

Make sure you go to www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/ though.

There's a drag strip out there as I went in about 2003 to watch some National Finals. Also some Richard Petty driving school there with some big old Nascar units to play in.

As for the Gun Store......GO!!!! It's wonderful, just pick a selection of automatics (Uzi, M16) and at least one big dog .357 Magnum.

In my experience, the public go-karts in the US tend to be much slower 'kiddie' type rides with roll-over hoops & seatbelts to stop them from getting injury lawsuits. Consequently all the extra weight means that they max out at about 20mph.

Friends did an endurance race there a couple of years ago and said that they tend to frown on overtaking as well, although that may just have been on that particular track.
