With less than two months to go until the start of the 2010 F1 season, who does the PH massive think will be crowned 2010 F1 World Drivers' Champion?

You don't think that Mercedes (i.e. Brawn who romped last season) with Schumaker (possibly the most sucessful living F1 driver) would be in with a chance? I apprieciate that the end of 2009 was all about the MacLaren and RedBull, but I don't think that Merc wouldn't close the R&D gap over the winter.

i voted hamilton because i'm biased, but realistically i think it's between him and vettel, with schumacher and alonso hot on their heels.

It's impossible to hazard even a guess until we've got some test lap times in the new cars. However Alonso has got to be worth a flutter as has Schumacher.

Too early to say.

I mean, in January 2005 I would not have put 1p of my hard earned on Rossi winning the MotoGP title on the Yam that year.

I'd love for Webber to win but i really cant see it. He is certainly one of the best but i dont think he is quite WDC material. Especially when you consider the level of talent in F1 at the moment.

It's pretty obivous from that who the 'real' number 1 drivers in the teams are!

Hamilton ahead of Button, Schumacher ahead of Rosberg (biggest tip for an upset), Alonso ahead of Massa, Vettel ahead of Webber. I think these were guaranteed, after that it's about how good the car is. Hamilton and Alonso have shown they are the most likely to out-perform the car if it's not the best on the grid. Massa and Vettel are at the other end of that scale, mostly only able to win from the front, so statistically they should be your least favourites, though I know there is more to Vettel than this from his earlier formula exploits.

I reckon it'll be Alonso, don't know why but I think the Ferrari will be fast this year.

I think that this year of all years trying to guess who will win is going to be very, very hard. Far too many changes and variables being tossed into a very big pot. But I can’t wait for it to start.

To the two people (so far) who voted "None of the above" - who do you think it will be?

I think there should be a side bet " who's going to crash the most, and make themselves look like a " Hamilton gets my vote.
